A piece of atmospheric railway tubing used by Brunel in his Atmospheric Railway between Exeter and Newton Abbot 1847.

This innovative method of propelling the train by hydraulic pressure rather than steam, unfortunately, did not prove successful and was abandoned after only a year of operation.
